James Parr is the Founder and CEO of Trillium Technologies an AI research and development company focused on intelligent systems for public benefit, planetary stewardship, space exploration and human space exploration.
He is also the founder of Frontier Development Lab (FDL), a science-led applied AI research lab developed in partnership with the European Space Agency (ESA), the Luxembourg Space Agency (LSA), NASA, industry partners and leading academic institutions. Over the past eleven years, FDL has delivered more than 50 applied AI firsts, including work on heliophysics and lunar foundation models, AI systems trained in space and novel approaches to Earth and planetary observation.
Through Trillium and FDL, James works at the intersection of science, technology and exploration, helping interdisciplinary teams apply AI to challenges of material concern to Humankind, both on Earth and beyond.
